Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted by your tour representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and some rest, start your exploration of the capital city. Begin with a visit to Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, proceed to Humayun’s Tomb, another architectural marvel from the Mughal era. Drive past iconic landmarks like India Gate, Parliament House, and the Presidential Residence. If time permits, visit the Lotus Temple or explore the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk and Connaught Place. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi to Agra (230 km/approx. 4 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Agra. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and freshen up. Visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, a symbol of love and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy the serene beauty of this white marble monument. Later, visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO-listed site that showcases Mughal grandeur and architecture. In the evening, you can explore local markets famous for marble handicrafts and leather goods. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 3: Agra to Jaipur (240 km/approx. 5 hours) via Fatehpur Sikri
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur. En route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned capital of the Mughal Empire, known for its magnificent palaces, mosques, and the Buland Darwaza (Gate of Victory). After exploring the site, continue your drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, you can explore the vibrant markets of Jaipur, which are known for jewelry, textiles, and traditional handicrafts. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing and Return to Delhi (260 km/approx. 5-6 hours)
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of Jaipur, starting with the stunning Amber Fort, located on a hilltop. Enjoy an elephant or jeep ride up to the fort and explore the Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) and other intricate palaces within the fort. Next, visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), known for its unique architecture and small windows designed for royal ladies. Continue to the City Palace, a grand complex that houses museums and palaces, and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
After the Jaipur tour, begin your return journey to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or your hotel, marking the end of your Golden Triangle tour.
